Too much is too much!
After 45 days of being detained, following our operation of saving/rescuing orphans in Darfur, the Chadian police/justice depart has just decided to end our operation.
We have been asking since the beginning of the investigation that our video proof be taken into account since it clearly demonstrates that 103 children have been taken to us and presented as orphans of Darfur by village chiefs who had give them to us in confidence. French Humanitarians have never attempted or even envisioned a kidnapping of Chadian children; this accusation of kidnapping is clearly a « made up » accusation on the part of the Chadian government. However, the trial is closed to hearing.

Faced with this accusation without any proof, with false testimonies as well as those testimonies given by « caring families » (that we have never met) who are greedy for financial compensation, we fear that we have been arrested by the government to satisfy the political pressures placed on the government rather than establish the truth of the situation.
In addition to our imprisonment and the injustice brought upon us, we must deal with with the anguish of seeing these children go back to the hell of war, between the East of Chad to the West of Darfur.

We denounce the amnesty given by French Authorities who were perfectly aware of the situation and have unfortunately contributed to the political masquerade in the media.
We refuse this situation and have decided individually and collectively for all 6 of us to take a hunger strike. We are aware of the risks of this action but we have no other choice to reclaim our innocence.

We ask our families, friends, close ones as well as our parliament representatives to support our action and to bring light to the responsibility of the French government to handle this affaire correctly in order to reestablish the truth and continue this operation to save orphans in Darfur.
